In this activity, students consider their upcoming school trip and think about what they'd like to see, eat, or buy there.
If your students don't have an upcoming school trip to talk about, you can substitute the question for one about an upcoming three day weekend or similar.
|Level:||Junior high grade 2|
|Works with:||I want be a music teacher.|
|Class size:||Medium to large|
You will need:
- Write the question up on the board.
"What do you want to in Tokyo?"
You'll also need to provide some verbs students can use with this question, but hopefully they can help you with that.
E.g. "see", "eat", "buy", "do". (Do is a free word - you can answer using any verb you want.)
- Students walk around, find a partner and ask each other a question.
- Because the question can change, students must take care replying.
- Demonstrate how the question and answer work with HRT so students can see how it works.
This activity works well as a quick review for Sunshine 2 Program 6 Section 1.
