Part 1
Part one of this Japanese story, the title of which has been translated to "Faithful Elephants", introduces the three elephants.
Part 2
In part two of the story, the first elephant dies.
Part 3
In the third part, the second and third elephant are starved.
Part 4
In part four, the two remaining elephants die and the monument currently in place at Ueno Zoo to memorialize them is introduced.
